All Andy1st instructors use dual-control vehicles and our instructor cars are replaced every 3 years with a brand new car, to give learners a smooth, reliable drive. In the unlikely event there are any problems with the car, it will be replaced within 24 hours making sure you don't miss any tuition or, even worse, your test.
Not only are all Andy1st instructors DSA approved, they also take a friendly patient approach to teaching you to drive. We believe the more you can relax the more you can learn. And if you enjoy your lessons, you'll build up your confidence and your driving skills more quickly.

The whole of your hour or maybe 2 hour lesson is yours. There will be no-one else in the car and the learning will start straight away – no wasting valuable time and money.
Our unique individual training plans are designed for you and your preferred way of learning. Some people are practical, some are visual and some are methodical. It doesn’t matter to us what style you are, we will spend time assessing you, getting to know you and decide what is right for you. We have learned that this style of teaching is very effective and highly successful as it concentrates on areas where you need more support and eliminates the need for going over and over areas where you have become quite proficient. It’s effective as it saves time and money for you and helps us by maintaining our already fantastic pass rate.
We have a range of courses which will suit everyone. Regular lessons can be paid for in a block or paid for on the day. These are spread out to regulate both cost and speed of learning. Intensive courses are the opposite. They usually involve 20 – 50 lessons taken in up to 10 days with a test at the end. It’s very demanding as it will take up all of your time for those few days but the plus side is that you’re likely to pass very quickly.
The choice of course is yours and should be discussed with an instructor to ensure suitability.
